We’ve always passed by Gacha Bakehouse in Pilar Village, but every time we did, the place was packed and parking was full. One lucky day, we spotted an open space, and that was our sign: it was time to finally try it.
The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by the warm, buttery aroma of freshly baked pastries. Their croissants were everything we hoped for 🤤 super flaky on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. Each bite was *heaven*.
We tried a few, but two stood out as instant favorites:
Cranberry Cream Stick – A sweet-tangy mix of cream cheese and cranberries in a soft pain suisse log, finished with a light sugar glaze. Perfectly balanced and not overly sweet.
Honey Truffle Camembert – A twice-baked butter croissant drizzled with honey and truffle oil, topped with creamy camembert cheese. Rich, indulgent, and unforgettable.
The staff (and possibly the owner!) were just as delightful as the pastries! Super friendly, accommodating, and clearly passionate about what they do. She even played some KPOP Demon Hunter Songs for Nico because Nico was singing Soda Pop when we entered the store. 🤣

After our croissant fix, we hopped over to the coffee shop right next door , Treesap, which is co-owned by Gacha Bakehouse. The coffee was great too! Also, they only require additional P25 for non dairy milk.
Both places had such cute, cozy interiors that made us want to linger longer. It’s the kind of spot you could easily turn into your regular weekend habit if you can snag that elusive parking spot, of course.
If you’re ever in the area, go early, grab a seat, and treat yourself. You’ll leave with a happy heart, buttery fingers, and maybe a new favorite coffee-pastry combo.
